I figured since Oppo was hosting this week’s cross thread I’d do something car related. So I went and bought a crap ton of yarn. Here’s some other pics and how I rigged this up.

Holy crap, I didn’t realize that was your car! Awesome!

That’s really creative.

Your W123 feels pretty, oh so pretty. Pretty and witty and bright.

I like the brightness of the string against your natural browns and early greens.

Well, that’s just cute. I feel like now you should knit the poor car a sweater. :P

Best part was all the people visiting the house for sale next door. Not gonna get a new neighbor anytime soon.

Haaa, sometimes I feel exposed crouching down to get pictures of weeds in abandoned lots and stuff. I could only imagine the scrutiny-fear (read also as: some ass gonna put me on YouTube phobia) of a protracted outdoor setup right in front of the house.

I know what you mean. When I went to test out this homemade steadicam , I went to an oft abandoned park. No cars present. Good. Get it all hooked up and start running up the hill like a jackass. Just as I get to the top there are two women coming towards me. “Hello” I remark as I just continue to jog passed them. I deleted that portion.

That’s pretty nifty tinkering, there. And yeah, that gadget hardly counts as low profile, especially with the Superman color scheme. Me, I have gotten remarkably good at shooting from the hip. Or, I dunno, the shoulder or the elbow or something. You know, all surreptitious-like. :)

You’ve beaten story645 fair and square.

Could never happen but thank you.
I’ve exhausted all creative thinking with this one.
